I had to get outta town. It was capital-D draggin’ me down, every time I swore it all off somebody’d buy me a drink or give me a hit and every damn place turned into a bowling alley except insteada balls, it was plastic shopping bags filled with heads, but they were mannequin heads, I’m pretty sure... insteada pins they were needles, fade to black... fade in it’s me sitting in a folding chair in some church basement. Somebody’s talking about something, I just wonder when the molotov is going to fly through the  window, but it never does, that part is over. Another universe, a different sequence; in this one it happens this way.
